Bottle gaurd in a spicy tomato based curry

Bottle guard - 1 medium size (chopped)

Tomato - 1 big (chopped)
Mustard - 1 tsp
Red chillies - 2 large
Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves - 6-8
Turmeric powder - 1tsp
Chily powder - 2 tsp
cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder- 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Kasoori methi - 1tsp
Oil - 2 tsp
Hing - 1/4 tsp

1.Take a pan and add mustard ,urad dal,cumin,red chillies broken and curry leaves .
2.Wait till the mustard and cumin starts to splutter.Then add the chopped bottle guard and tomato. Saute properly close and cook for 5 min.
3.Then add chilly powder,salt,turmeric powder ,coriander powder,cumin powder and pepper powder.saute and add about 2 cup of water and cook for 10 mins.
4.Now add kasoori methi and toss it and cook for 5 more mins.

5.Serve hot with roti, kulchas or plain rice.
