Ghee rost plain Dosa( thuppa Dosa)
Ingredients:

Raw rice - 2 cups
Urad dal - 1 cup
Masoor dal - 2 tsp
Orange masoor dal-2 tsp
channa dal -2 tsp
Methi seeds - 1 tsp
salt -as per taste
yeast - 1/2 tsp dissolved in warm water
These are for the batter which have to be soaked in hot water for 3 hrs.
Method:

1.Blend all the ingredients of batter till it forms a smooth paste by aadding enough water and salt .
2.Now add the yeast and keep it in the oven to raise up over night or for 3-5 hrs atleast.
3.Now the batter is ready.Heat the pan /tava and then pour about 2 big spoon and roll it in circular fashion in the same direction very thinly and close the lid and allow it to cook for about 3 min till it becomes golden brown.
4.Then greese it with ghee and slowly make it upside down and now bake it without a lid for 1 min .
5. The dosa may be served with rasam & Onion /ginger chutney

Is there any difference between rost and dosa
Hi,
I had seen dosa and rost as different section in a menu card.Is there really any difference between dosa and rost?
